    travel agents price feeds?

Hi, If there are any travel agents reading this, I am curious about how they get their cruise prices. Do travel agents have a single program in which they can check prices for any cruise line? Or does each line impose its own tool/site on agents?

Also I would interested to know if this differs from country to country.

Some travel agents use a GDS system or a consolidated engine by Revelex or Cruiseport or the like. I will sometimes use one of these consolidated engines but I always follow up with the cruiselines' travel agent site to verify current price and availability. I'm not 100% sure if there is a difference between countries but I doubt it. Cruise lines are all changing to "no discount" policies which prohibit anyone (Costco, discount internet sellers, etc) from advertising or quoting a lower price than what the cruise line does. You should see some standardized pricing regardless of how the cruise is booked.
