Re: post your price drops here! - NO ALERTS FOR ME

I have changed my price twice for a Nov 2017 sailing on RCCL.  But this was not due to Cruise Fish.  I've used this service before and was happy.  This time I haven't received an alert or any response to my queries about the lack of alerts.  I'm glad I checked for myself.  I would have lost the discounts I received from my own effort.

Which November RCCL cruise are you on?

And what category? You really should include all of the details if you expect someone to investigate. Are you sure you signed up for price tracking on the appropriate category? Since you didn't say what cat you're talking about I can't check but there have been recent price changes for that cruise on this site. Does the lower price show up here on the site (i.e., is the problem that it's not seeing the lower price or that you didn't get the email)? Have you checked your spam folder?

Note I am not a CF employee nor do I have anything to do with the site other than being a happy customer. Don't want you to think that someone from CF is being mean to you.

My response was to someone I thought might be a fellow cruiser.   I wasn't asking for anyone to serve as a intermediate searcher.  I have already tracked my own price.

As an update I received my first tracking email today, just minutes after I posted my complaint.    But days after emailing Cruise Fish.   So it appears things are working for me now.

We board Oasis when you disembark. Guess I'll have to keep checking too, although I'm not sure there's any beating our D8 $971 Expedia rate!

Booked mine through Costco travel.  The price is better than RCCL direct, includes an Onboard credit RCCL offered and an additional Costco credit ($95) they send after the cruise.

There is nobody that can beat the deal that inCruises gives people.  For $100 per month they give you 200 Cruise Dollars that you can only use to book a cruise through them.  Now you can use 60% of what's in your account the 1st year per cruise then 70% in your second, 80% in your third up to 100%.

I signed up last year and booked a cruise to Alaska and saved $1,400 so I know it works.  I also became a partner to help promote it now.  Here is my page describing it: http://save4cruise.com

I think everyone that cruises or even thinks of cruising should be doing this.

Not sure how this works, but I got an alert that there was a price drop on my 9/2018 Norwegian cruise line to Bermuda, I went to their website and the price is the same, where are you seeing this price drop?

Sometimes, by the time you see the notice and get there, the prices are back up. :(

Also there are times the rate drop was for a rate you perhaps either can't see or don't qualify for (Senior, Police/Fire, Resident, etc.)

Re: post your price drops here!

I've also seen situations where the price drops at a weird time (like 2AM), and then is back where it was by 3AM. I've always assumed that the cruise line had to enter reservations for some special group, so they change the price, enter everyone from that group, and then put the price back. But do not have any inside knowledge about this - just my assumption.

    Thank you CF!
