    Availability

Is it cabins, passengers, cabin catagories etc. Please define availability so we can understand what we are looking at. Thanks

    Re: Availability

I just did a quick look around and found that many cruises on the same ship had the same availability for 2011. The cruise I looked at had 72% availability. I clicked on the cruise and found that they had 25 different categories, of these 25 cats 18 were for sale. 18/25 = 72% So I think it means that 72% of the catgories were available to be sold I always thought it meant the 72% of the cruise was unsold but it does not look like it does.

That makes sense as I don't think that the cruise lines would want anybody to know how much actual space was available & after looking, it sure does look like there are way to many empty ships if it was right...Thanks for the heads up!

    Re: Availability

CruiseFish can clarify this. If it is catagories as suggested, I question how this can be useful to us

Obviously CF is no more aware of cabin availability (or ship occupancy) than the travel agents are, as only the cruise line has that strategic information. Granted, our term "availability" is misnomer here as it only represents a percentage of categories still available. I'll happily take your suggestions for a better label.

adding Disney cruises to your cruise lines

Hi Titus - I was just wondering if you could add Disney Cruise Lines to your available cruises where you watch pricing. They are coming out with 2 new ships which will be doing 7 day sailings. I am wondering if there was anyway you could add the Disney Fantasy to your offerings. Thanks.
