I got a bunch of notifications for my Celebrity Edge sailings yesterday. Got 5 emails but they all seemed to be the same.

I'm curious if the information in the email was accurate  meaning was there a true price drop for this sailing?

I haven't seen 1 notice for any of the cruises that i had credits applied and know of all that i was watching have dropped and notifications should have been seen out from this site.  Sadly none were ever sent.  I have filed with Paypal to get back my money and if everyone that has paid thru paypal does the same.  That should elicite a concern with paypal to terminate services with cruisefish.

I too received several notices of price drops, that were repeative.  So Sorry to see CruiseFish go by the wayside.  I've saved money over the years and miss the assistance from this great venue.  Yes, I still have credits to used but, overall, I have come out ahead. Thank you Titus, and sorry to see you go!

Below is the address listed on Cruisefish website.  However, when I do a mapquest or google maps, nothing is found.  Do you think this is a fictious address?

https://www.whois.com/whois/cruisefish.net is the current website registration information

Last post I saw from Titus was on Nov 14, 2017 so I'm hoping that Titus is still around and working on CF issues around his day job. It appears to me that the cruise companies have found a way to make things very difficult for CF which could be overcome from a full time staff working on it. It would probably take a much larger cf membership for such to happen and I don't have any idea on the programing or mechanics behind such. It's been a few years since I did any programming but would be willing to look at such if it would make the site more useful to me.

I was certain Cruise Fish was dead...until this morning.

I received a notification that my Princess (Royal Princess) September 2019 Alaska sailing price had dropped. I did a price check on Princess and indeed it dropped $840 ($420 x 2)! Was price matched AND got pre-paid gratuities of $348 ($174 x 2).

    Total savings today $1,188!

Not too shabby for a $1 buy in.

I'm still unsure what really IS going on, but at least part of the fish lives.

The CruiseFish website is due for renewal on 2019-03-15. I will be curious to see if it is renewed or it goes dark at that time.

For me it is mostly dark already as it appears about the only companies being updated are Cunard, Disney and maybe Carnaval and I don't use any of them. One change I have noticed is the site no longer uses https:// (secure) and only use http:// (unsecure) but then there is nothing that really needs to be secured on this site other than your password (and you do use a seperate password for each site you logon to don't you?)

Well someone is watching as HTTPS (secure) has been reinstated and some (very limited) updates are coming through. I have not had time to check for accuracy but it's something so now those limited updates have gone the way of the dodo and it's back to Cunard and Carnaval.

Cruise Fish was down for about 2 weeks or so just in the month of October 2018.  Unfortunately, even thou they are back up, their price drops, etc. are NOT what is correct anymore.  If you go on the regular cruise ship sites, compare the price drops with Cruise Fish and the Cruise Line, Cruise Fish is still INCORRECT.  They have NOT updated their system, particulary with NCL. Very disappointed in them

They were gone from the web for about 2 weeks.  Are back up now but no different.  NCL Bliss for November 2018 pricing is the same before their website went down.  WRONG. If you check NCL's website, now way have the mini suites or other categories in line with CruiseFish.net.  They are terrible and a waste of money

Re: I think CruiseFish is DEAD

Sadly, cruise fish is not working IMO.

I know a cruise is sold out and they are still showing it with 83% availability.  My cruise has had price changes and I've received no notifications.  Sad to see this site go.

If it's not working, it really should be taken down rather than leave the impression it is still running.
