It's dead...it's a program written so that it will update some cruises and listings, but not all. FYI if you try contacting them you will see no one has had a response from the new owner or previous owner in quite some time now.
Definitely false advertising to be lettign poeple (new comers) think if they pay their money; it will monitor all cruises for them.
I'm willing to put a list together of which cruise lines ARE getting notifications for. Based on what I'm reading in this thread, I'm thinking it's partially CruiseFish being dead (the human(s) behind the computer program no longer being active) and partially the cruise lines (which have figured out how to foil the computer algorithims at Cruise Fish).
I'm willing to do the list (line, and ship)...and I'll start here:
NO notifications: Carnival Splendor; Princess Royal Princess
YES notifications:
The fish appears dead
I am getting notifications on RCI Oasis, Allure, Symphony, and Vision.....but they are not always accurate.
Not sure how often this place tracks pricing but it is free
www.cruiseline.com/cruise/price-alerts
NO notifications: Carnival Splendor; Princess Royal Princess
YES notifications: RCI: Oasis, Allure, Symphony and Vision (noted, not always accurate)
NO notifications for 2 different sailings on the Caribbean Princess.
No notifications for Grand Princess, Star Princess, Emerald Princess, Island Princess and Ruby Princess
It appears that Princess Cruises is the cruise line that we're not receiving price updates, whereas others still receiving price notifications for RCI and Celebrity.
I have found if you dispute your charge (I paid via PayPal...) that you will suddenly start getting updates on your cruise. For me it is Celebrity Solstice. The updates are not terribly accurate or timely, but they are happening now.

All I see when trying to set an alert is that graph. It is not working

Thanks for the pointer. However, it keeps showing "N/A" for balcony cabins on the few Celebrity cruises I checked (and there are balcony cabins availasble). Maybe they're confused because Celebrity calls it verandah? But I also checked an Oceania cruise and also got N/A for balcony.
Also, even if/when it works, it doesn't let you set alerts by specific category (like balcony 2C for Celebrity) like you could with CF. It's really very sad that this site is on auto-pilot and not working well. It was an extremely useful site that saved many of us big bucks.
I wonder what's happening to the money being paid into the Paypal account when people unknowingly buy credits?
I only follow Royal Caribbean here on CF and they have not had the ability to pick a particular category ever since Royal re did their website over a year ago. CF only captures one balcony, OV etc not all of them like it did in the past. SAD!!!
