How to determine percentage of vacant cabins?

I was told to look on this site to determine how many cabins were vacant on a specific cruise. I use it to monitor pricing but could not find the info I was looking for. Seems like there are LOTS of vacant cabins for our April 24, 2016 Liberty of the Seas cruise and was curious at what percentage of cabins remained unsold. Any help would be appreciated.

When you look under "Finder" and locate your ship and sail date, yoiu should find the information you are looking for:

    SaildateCategories
    2016-03-132 %
    2016-03-2722 %
    2016-03-27[s]25 %
    2016-04-10[s]30 %
    2016-04-1033 %
    2016-04-24[s]33 %
    2016-04-2436 %
    2016-05-0830 %
    2016-05-08[s]30 %
    2016-07-03

    [s]27 %

4-24-16 shows 33% and that there is a senior rate available.

From CF FAQ-  It is not the number of cabins but the numer of categories still available.  I should add since CF has been having problems capturing pricing for all RCL I don't know how accurate those % are

What does the "Categories" percentage mean?

It is only an indication of available cabin categories, not ship occupancy. Only the cruise lines have access to that strategic information. Still it can be an useful indicator of a cruise's success.

I don't know, but just checking Seascanner and they don't show any category sold out so looks like all categories are available.  I checkec D1's and JS's and there are about 20 of each of those available, so ship does not look full at all.

Yes that is what I have found as well.  For some of the RCL cruises that just went on sale CF is showing 33% when it should be 100% as every category is still available.

I would not rely on the % for anything.  I don't even pay attention to it

Thx for the reples. When I hit "Finder" it was taking me to the last sailing I set alerts for. Once I backed out and started over it started showing me the percentages. I agree that they are not all accurate. There are still 24 JS's and 6 GS's available for our Aopril sailing. I did not count all the other catagories, but there are currently a bunch of empty cabins. It has been like this since final payment date. I wonder if a large group cancelled or a TA was sitting on a ton of rooms and released just prior to final payment date.

We are doing the same cruise in Nov and there are only a handful of cabins left and it's 250+ days away.

I am absolutely fine with fewer people onboard. :)
