Our friends live in the UK, what agency can they book through?

I've used the same travel agent for my last 4 cruises and have been very pleased.  We met some great friends on our last cruise that live in the UK.  We all want to book again together this time in 2016.  I emailed my travel agent and she said their agency can only book travelers with a US address?   I know I've read online of others not from the US booking cruises via travel agents here.  All help is appreciated as this is a new one to me.

A bit late for the reply, I know.

The answer will depend on which cruise line. Some of the lines will allow reservations with UK addresses IF the guest/passenger/client contacted the travel agent first. If the agent contacted the client, or ran a general advertisement in the UK - then no go.

Some don't care at all. Depends who you want to sail with.

This was Royal Caribbean cruiselines.  Thank you for responding.

I would say "pretty much any of them".

I'm a British expat, now Florida resident, and I am an agent. I had a question about some colleagues of mine that live in Dublin. I wrote to my "business manager" at Royal Caribbean and asked if I could book them a cruise.

The response was that I could NOT advertise to them to attract their business but if they came to me and asked for a cruise I would be allowed to take their reservation request and process it for them.

Norwegian Cruise Line are the same. Disney don't care, they are happy for me to get any cruisers for them. Princess Cruise Line have made it very clear that we cannot accept reservation requests from Australian residents - but that is more of an Australian business protection deal.
