    Quantum of the Seas

Titus! When do you think Quantum prices will start being checked? It would be interesting to see what happened with the prices on this, the first day of sales. Many categories are sold out already and I've heard that prices are shooting up on the categories available. I'd love to see those prices thoughout the day. It may be too late though if it's not being monitored yet. I hope we can view them soon.

I had already sent Titus an email.  Want to track my cabin.  I called about 945 to get my ressie and JS's were already gone!  Unfortunately I had forgotten that today was the day.  I definitely want to keep track too.

they ar posted now.    I know she is a new ship, but these prices are extremely high.   Much higher than the Allure when I sailed her inaugural.

I grabbed a Spa JS at 8:00am and thought the price was much fairer than I expected. It was just over $2000 - maybe $2100 pp for 11 days. That's the base price. NO confirmations have been sent yet so I can't remember the exact figure. I thought Allure and Oasis were at least that much or more for a 7 day cruise. Although I don't think Ds were much less than JS on Quantum. I just grabbed what I wanted and decided to think about it for more than a year. :) I like following prices with cruise fish, committed to the cruise or not. I just finished a guarantee JS on Oasis that was $1799 pp. That's the best I could do this time of year. So 1st sailings of Quantum seems like a deal compared to that. I realize Oasis class can drop to around $1249 pp (rarely better) for 7 days in the fall.

I chose the 11 day too--for many reasons.  Glad to hear you have no confirmation yet as I don't either.  Will look forward to meeting you after reading your posts all these years.

I'm not totally committed. It does look like a nice itinerary. The only one better is the 12 day in January but I don't want to be away from home in January during the nice FL weather. I actually booked it because I was playing on my phone waiting for my dentist appt. I saw it was 8am, I looked it up, and was able to book it, so I did. Right there on my iPhone. I didn't have my NCC with me so I'll only get the balcony discount. I feel like it's a fair price though for 11 nights on a new ship in a SJS.

We might meet. I'll know better in a year. :)

glad everyone is getting what they want.  I also know the prices are typically higher out of Cape Liberty since you don't have the competition up there as we do here in South Florida.   I had booked the inaugural Allure last minuteabout $100/day AND then got upgraded to boot.  So seeing these prices on quantum with very limited ports of call seem very high to me.  But I'm sure she is worth it for those sailing.  Her activities look awesome.   As far as Quantum, I am going to wait until the New England cruise itinerary, assuming she'll do them as well like the Explorer did.   So I guess I'll be waiting until Fall of 2015 for my quantum fix.
