? about Military discount being shown...

I have a E2 booked on RCCL FOS for December 15th. According to the chart here on cruisefish.net there is a Military rate of $859/pp for a Superior Balcony room I believe a D1. The rate is much cheaper than I booked and would be willing to switch to D1. When I called RCCL they say they have no Military rate as of yet for any rooms. Am I doing something wrong or I am getting wrong info from RCCL?

    Thank you.

    The $859 is for a D2.  A D1 is $1069.  I'd grab the D2.

By the way.....this is right off their web site by doing a mock booking so whoever told you there was no military rate was incorrect.

If I change to the D2 I will lose my cabin 9404 which is an aft balcony. Are the D2 rooms nicer? Larger? Or the same? When I did a mock booking it shows the price around $1000 a person.

A D2 is approximately 200 sq. ft and the price with military discount was $859 when I checked.  The D2 was less than D3 and D1.  Don't know what the cost of your E2 was.  Not sure what you are looking for here--a price saving or a specific location.  Only you can decide which is most important to you.

Thank you. This is my 1st time booking for myself and I just want to make sure I get a good deal. I am just confused on once I get a price alert do I just call RCCL and tell them I saw a price drop and hope they honor it? We have E2 9404 booked on the FOS. It is an aft balcony room. I got the room for $999/pp.

For whatever reason when I just mock booked even when I click on Military I am still showing D1 as 1069/pp I did not see an option for D2 or D3. So I am just worried I am doing something wrong.

When you are doing your mock booking you must click on the button that says "show options" and it will give you the different categories of balconies.  Usually D1 is more expensive than D2 and that is more than D3....but not in this particular case as the D2 is the least expensive.  If you see below where it says "deckplan codes"  you will see D1, D2, and D3 and you will have to click on each category (D1, etc.) to get the price for that category.   I tried to show the example but it was rejected for having waaaaay too many bytes!
