We have done complete transits of the PC twice--but both on Royal Caribbean so I know nothing about your chosen ship. The cruise itself is very interesting and the day of the actual canal transit is extremely interesting. We had some expert on board who gave commentary all day. As you transit the canal it is usually very hot and you lose the ocean breeze. Be sure and move about the ship during the day in order to get different perspectives. Not sure what your included ports are, but be sure to eat some pineapple in Costa Rica

Hi, my family and I sailed on the NCL Star this last April/May to the Mexican Riveria. The Star is a nice ship, easy to get around. The crew that we interacted with were awesome! We had an aft suite. Loved it but this was just after the dry dock in Vancouver and someone decided to move the Spinnaker Lounge right below the cabin we had. Bring earplugs for sleeping if you have a cabin above the Spinnaker Lounge.
